After a grueling week on the east for a little contest extravaganza we made it back home to Salt Lake for almost 24 hours. Instead of taking it easy Mark Dangler and I grabbed a few of our friends to pile in the RV and charge through the night. Our main reason was to check out the Ashbury demo, but you don't have to twist my arm too much to make one more trip to Big Bear before they come to a close. The sun was burning bright both days bringing out some springtime slush, along with hot chicks in some small attire really flaunting it. So we had that going for us too. The whole Ashbury team seemed to be putting on a demo on the entire mountain the whole day. Bringing some of the best new rail kids to Bear's full mountain playground. Which also maintained by the hardest working park staff I've ever seen. Sunday after a nonstop day riding till close we decided instead of driving back to Utah we would make out way to Oceanside. That way we could get at least one solid night of partying in. So we stayed with Cole Barash and Eric's pad to put down a handle of shitty rum and some adult sodas on the beach. The next morning we took off making our way back to Salt Lake with a real good hangover. As we were heading out the California Highway Patrol decided we needed to have the dogs come in and search the RV on the side of a busy highway for an hour. Only to find nothing, but made another crazy part of the trip. Thank you RIO for hooking us up at Bear, and Cole and Eric for showing us a good time at the beach.

- Yeah, of course we would make a little stop in Vegas.

- Sam Spedale breaks the first jump in the line a backside 180 melon.

- There are some things you just need while on a Southern California road trip.

- Kirk Kaufman gaps to a frontside lip bonk while on the clock.

-Taking some hot laps Kirk Kaufman, Joseph Arguello, and Sam Spedale

- Kirk locks into a front board instead of raking lips this run.

- Many of the Ashbury riders calling it a day after a long weekend.

- Sam Spedale comes in with some speed to pop a front 3 tail snatching nosebonk on the blazer.

- Bear's Zak Hale

- When you grow up riding this place everyday your bound to get pretty good. Zak nosepressing with none of that tail tapping shit.

- Zak again sliding a front lip of the corner of this mellow little wall ride.

- Sam chasing after Joseph with the mandatory method and Big Bear Lake shot.

- Dangler getting follow cam line while Sam twirls around a back seven tail.

- Just one of the areas filled with too many feature options to hit in one run.

- I told Sam to "Do a front board and don't fuck it up." He didn't

- Desert Sunset driving to the beach. Sick

- Spencer and I not too sober.

- Snowboarding all weekend to this a couple hours away. SoCal is fucking sweet.
