Blue. The world here in Valdez revolves around it. We were fortunate enough to catch one our first day here. They say you need to treat each blue day like its the last one for months. Since the crew all had yet to get our Alaska cherries popped we figured the best way to warm up and test the waters was via Snow Machines out of the MTN OPS headquarters staged at A.B.A. in the heart of Thompson pass. After a big doubles mission we got our crew up to the perfect warm up spot in a zone "Nicks" named accordingly after Valdez snowboard pioneer Nick Perata. Wyatt Caldwell popped the zoned off proceeding by every member of the group including photographer and filmer each getting at least 7 or 8 solid runs on a this fun face. Â Thanks again to Mark Sullivan, Rob Kingwill and Aaron Robinson for brapppin us all up there.
