Greg Bokenkamp has been one of my good friends for a long time now. He has been riding in Mammoth for the past few years just killing it and people are finally starting to realize how much talent he has. You might have seen some shots of Greg in Romes Any Means video from this year. This season Greg has been filming nonstop again with the Rome squad and has told us stories about some heavy days with Bjorn Leines. Today I got to ride with Greg and his family at Bromley for some fun east coast resort cruising. Finding anything on the side of the trail to ride and using rollers as the booters and just having a mellow fun day of snowboarding. For Greg and me this is snowboarding different from any day we have now that we have left the icy slopes of the east for bigger and better things in California. It was really an amazing day for me getting the chance to see what it was like for Greg growing up at Bromley and spending time with the Bokenkamps, who are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Now I know why Greg is not only an awesome snowboarder but an awesome person too.
