One of the first things I saw when riding up the chair lift at summit snoqualmie during Grenade Games, was this deserted, half destroyed double hip/bowl feature setup sitting abandoned on the far closed off side of the resort. I thought to myself that would be sick to session or to even snap a few photos on. Being 420 and all the madness going on I quickly forgot about hip and headed to join the festivities. After a long hazy day while everybody was heading home I saw Johnny hiking over towards the hip. I caught up and found out he had also been scoping it all day too. So it was on. The clouds popped and some golden light from the dipping sun was directly hitting the hip and mountain behind it. Everything was set, Johnny was about to drop but out nowhere fatass ol billy bob king of mountain putted over and put an end to everything just like that. No reasoning or bargains he wasn't having it and posted up until we left. By then the light was gone so was everybody else on mtn and parking lot so we headed out. Summary of the story we came back for day two, shredded all day and after the awards went for try two. This time Adi Velic was in the mix and even though the light wasn't ideal him and Johnny had a good session on I think DC or MDP's crazy set up left overs. - AM
