Both of these guys rode very solid during the 2007 Burton ASJ at Mt Hood a few weeks back. Jake Blauvelt was doing some huge Mctwist's and Airs on the QP, Lonnie also rode very well being his first Major Competitive appearance and lack of hitting a QP in a couple of years. Day two Lonnie opted out of the half pipe while Jake took a few laps despite a close call and hard fall still had a few sick runs. Day three was all Lonnie powering through his slope style runs not falling once and stomping the shit out of various nines and sevens with his signature style but the rails proved to be a major focus on the course and Lonnie landed 13th for the day. Both of these guys were sick even though they didnt podium.. defiantly stood out too alot of people and it was sick to witness Jake on the QP and Lonnie shredding the Jumps.
