Late October Utah got blasted with some heavy early season storms and many deep pow turns, jib sessions and tons of hiking where had. I was unfortunately down in So Cal trying not to catch on fire while all my friends where riding pow. Two weeks later despite the warmer weather and melt off a few friends and I decided to head up to Alta to see if anything was still shredable. We parked up as far up as possible and starting hiking up from mud to a thin layer of snow getting deeper the the farther we went up. Tried to shoot a few slashes but the snow was just too hard so we proceeded higher up and found a sketchy rock gap with a melted out lip and landing. Sam Spedale took to it first and everybody (Danny Buller, Jeremy Black, Sid ) got a little session going, got a few good shots and had a good time. Everybody better start prayin for some snow cause the forecast looks pretty dry and there is not enough base to open any of resorts on Schedule unless a surprise system rolls through cause opening day's are alittle over a week and half away.....
