Skid Row, in their Sebastian Bach days, were one of the greatest "hair metal" bands. Even though they weren't really a hair metal band, they were the basis for what became hard rock. Their guitar riffs and bass lines were much deeper and had a entirely different style. For a good old school pumped up ride, go out and pick up "Youth Gone Wild" or "Slave To The Grind" and throw down on the mountain.
