The Snowboard Revolution headquarters is in the western New York town of Jamestown. Seeing as they had tons of snow and my bosses Johhny Centi and Major Tom were there, plus other cool people, it was a no brainer to make the drive North from Pittsburgh. Johnny is trying hard to put Jamestown on the snowboard world's radar and he has done a fine job so far. They have quite a scene up there centered around the shop Suburban Blend and Holiday Valley, in Ellicottville. It was definitely worth the trip to see the guys and to see where the Revolution headquarters is. Not too mention shredding Holiday Valley and seeing OG Jackson loc and Burton Teamrider Billy Bacon

Actually I think it is local kids and stuff and how cool is that to work on websites in a town like Jamestown instead of like every schmuck job in town would you like fries with that burger?

Johnny's Dad I think told me that Mondays was the dirtiest bar in town, he was right. It was a rad place with some strippers humping a pole and no one watching cuz football was on

After a few hours of riding the Jamestown Police came to destroy the snowboard course set up on the sidewalk

Lake Effect snow is a phrase used weather cross a lake and creates a greater snowfall in a region. Most snowboarders know the Wasatch mountain in Utah are famous for their dry lake effect powder. Well Western New York also gets lake effect from, only from Lake Erie. About 40 minute from Jamestown New York, lies the fun ski area called Holiday Valley

Who has not done 360 in a ski area parking lot with their parents car? Well, kids from Darfur probably never have, which goes to show, if you even in the parking lot of a ski area, you are pretty lucky

Major Tom and OG Jackson Hole loc/Burton rider Billy Bacon lives at Holiday Valley and is opening up a Suburban Blend there as well. Billy was one of the early riders to emigrate to Jackson, along with the like of Keith Lockwood, Chris Pappas, Eric Wright and way more. He was there when Travis Rice was playing on the swings in elementary school. Major Tom likes to work in the shadows so I won’t talk about the cool stuff he’s done with snowrev.com; from like 3 visitors a day in the beginning to like 300-500 people on line at any given time all day and all night
