The story begins with some serious Mentor Ohio highway exit sign tags. If you missed em you missed the exit for the event. Big clouds and highway signs are a good mix. The town of Mentor is open minded enough to allow Little Mountain LTD Snowboard Shop to throw their annual summertime snowboard rail jam in the yard of their ice arena. That for us snowboarders is a beautiful thing. Snowboarders from all over the Northeast showed up for this event. The total rider count may have reached a womping 150 rippers. At least thats how it looked. Riders from Michigan, Ohio, Jamestown New York and surrounding areas showed up to throw down. Some of the highlights were Bill Cooley "450 drop in" onto the fake grass drop ramp. A bunch of front board pretzel out by g's from all over the East with big ol tees and mad dope rail steeze'!! Big Supa Doin It Supa Big as always. The c box by Pknpk saw a lot of action and a some 270 on 270 off attempts. The flat-down feature made it easy for the kids to boardslide to front board switch ups. The flat down flat rail saw a ton of action, it had the longest drop in and provided enough space for the kids to all try their best spins onto it. The down rail saw the most action from the g's. A bunch of kids attempted front board pretzel out but it seemed very hard to land with the lack of snow. I saw a couple solid front boards though. All the riders killed it once again and I look forward to what goes down next season..... "Big Billy Boss" Cooley manager of the Sticker Operations gets down with a front board on barn yard box. Billy has dope style on his snowboard and it carries over from his skills on his skateboard. My estimation is you will definitely hear more about this kid because he is killing it. Chris Perks is the park director of New York based resort Holiday Valley. He's not afraid to slide the boxes supplied by Pknpk. "Hell Yeah Perksie" That is a classic shout out from the first Suburban Blend video. Billy Bacon and Pete Scheira edited that video. This loc dog killed it. A grip of kids from the Buffalo area showed up and killed it. Those kids have some pretty dope style. Johnny Centi from SNOWREV.COM took a break from filming to see what these kids had to work with.
