Grenade Games 2008 was insane in every way. For day two Grenade and June opened a couple of the lifts to make a huge party at the mountain's legendary halfpipe. The weather was perfect with sunny skies and if you looked at the pipe of the pipe you could see a smoky haze rising up. There was live music from Shaun Farmer and Bob Klien's band called THC then followed by the loud noise of Deathpact. Of course there were plenty of frosty brew, burgers, and plenty of that green plant that makes this holiday what it is. So after another day of making it past all the cops that had nothing else better to do I think it's safe to say that everyone had an awesome time. Some of the FRENDS crew were there killing it like Luke Mitrani blasting the biggest airs of the day and Mason Aguirre not far behind. Chas Guldemond had his dogs follow him all the way up to the pipe and ran after him all day while he took some sick runs down the pipe trying to give Luke a run for his money. Nate Farrell and Cody Rosenthal were blazing doobies and laying down some sick alley-opps tweaks and the usual in pipe for the duration of the day. Louie Vito was all about the boned age eye ball laying down some mean hand plants. Then of course there was the man who made it all happen, Danny Kass holding it down all weekend. It didn't matter if it was riding everyday or at the bar every night Danny Killed it. As the day started to come to a close there was infamous bull rider mogul field that a cat took a hacking to where you try your chances on a snurfer style board while everyone pelts you with snowballs usually ending up in some pretty hard and funny crashes. If you haven't figured out what I'm getting at here is that Grenade Games is a contest like nothing else. A whole weekend of nonstop fun with one of the best parks and pipe, amazing parties, and plenty of buds. Now only if the cops would mellow out. Thats it for us we are pretty destroyed from the weekend actually I think that almost the whole town of Mammoth is feeling the same way today but we are glad we managed to this these stories up..ha... - Here's a good look at the crowd that made it past the cops to party on the mountain
- Shaun Farmer and Bob Klien. They are in the band THC. Bob Klien is DK's agent (or was at one time) also BK rode Squaw the first day it ever opened to snowboarding, along with Tina and Mike Basich, Mike Chantry, Don and Danielle Bostick and others. I tjhink BK was pro too. We all know who Farmer is.... or at least you should!

- Louie Vito with a switch plant on the eyeball. Louie was busting these all day later I heard him say is the eye moving when you hit it? Some dude said there is not way the thing can come loose and not five mintues later some kid ended hitting the eye and knocking it off the deck into the flat bottom and it rolled all the way down the pipe almost taking Chas dog out. Good thing it did come off while Louie was upside down on it!
- Long time Grenerd Colin Langlois boosting in your face.
- You would have seen this at any given time if you glanced over at Binky during the day. Binky rolling like a champ.
- Lucas Magoon is not just a rail master, he can ride pipe pretty well too. Lucas was getting these sick ass front side tail taps but way beyond a tail tap cuz he was bending the SHIT out of his tail on em so he was fully balanced up there on the 420 red eye. Then he started busting these crazy tailtaps to fakie, which is what you see here. I am not even sure if there is a name for it - front tail block to fakie?
- Luke Mitrani has a pretty nice matching color combo going from his head down to his toe straps not to mention this nice front five

- These guys got some pretty solid water balloon shots almost hitting Dingo in the face.
- Bunch of dudes with a bunch of beers watching the Highest Air not knowing about the kids above aim at them.
- Cody Rosenthal getting high all day with of the best ally-oop 720's and 900's I have ever seen him do. If there was a best trick for the day Cody would have gotten that easily.
-Can you really see too much of Danny. If you are gay for sure not. I happen to not be gay but I like photos of Danny.DK owner of Grenade Gloves putting down a frontside 720.
- Pat "the eye" Bridges does an Andrecht to fakie on the eye at the Grenade Games. He smoked a cigarette and chugged a Monster to get up to this. Bridges is the man... how many editors do you see killing it like this!
- How many owners of companies do you see out shredding all day and throwing down? Not many but SNOWREV owner Johnny Centi is one of the few. Solid Alley opp 540.
- Luke Mitrani snatching some tail for the highest air of the day.
- Luke again sending it all day. If his brother Jack would have showed up I sure they would have battled it out. What the hell do these kids eat for breakfast?
- Nick Russell has been getting plenty of action on SNOWREV not to mention how cool of a dude he is. Watch out for him he coming up strong.. Tail grab over the eye.

- Binky is probably everyone's favorite person to nail with snowballs. As you can see here there's some heat coming at him. Look how hard he is getting tagged right as he drops in not making it very far straight into a face plant.
