How did you get started with the Revolution?
Well last year I met Ed through my old roommate. First time he came over we talked for a long time. I just blown out my knee so I had been shooting a few more photos showed him and just started sending him photos once in awhile and slowing started getting more involved with Johnny and him. Did a bunch of shit over the summer with the new site and ideas and got hired on full time around January and have being going strong since then. I thinks its been little over a year. I'm stoked to be a part of it and we have come such along way in the past year and its only going to get better. This thing is was created and is run by people who are out their every day shredding and truly love snowboarding. Viva la Revolution!
Favorite trip this season?
Going to the East Coast with crazy Johnny for the Open and hanging out in New York was pretty sick since I that was my first time over there. Grenade Games in Washington was a trip and Seattle was cool. Probably the best was my first trip out to Sonora. It blew my mind and I had such a good time sledding that place is so rad.

Who is Metal?
Lonnie Kauk. Lonnie is the man and probably one of the most inspiring people I have ever met. Whenever I’m around him he gives off such good vibes and he deserves everything that he is getting right now. Lonnie has been riding almost everyday Mammoth and June hitting all the big jumps solo not matter the weather or who is watching just slaying. He definitely is one of best jumpers around right now not to mention the shit he climbs. He is metal.
Who is Not?
A lot of kids these days. Some many have such big attitudes and worry too much about how long their tall tee is or how tight their pants are. A lot have such a horrible perspective on snowboarding like last year Mammoth had one of the biggest years ever so much powder and I remember hearing a lot kids complaining about how the park sucks and there is no boxes to hit and they don’t even realized where the hell they are the endless possibilities to ride around the area instead of hitting the same flat box all the day. Definitely the attitudes are the worst though.

Favorite place, person or people to shoot with?
I am down to pretty much go out with anybody and meeting new people and shooting difference stuff is cool. I have a pretty good crew up here and have shot a lot with Mac Spedale. He is super down, we click and I always know I can get bunch of sick stuff with him. I would have to stay this next year I'm ready, got all my gear to really start exploring more Local back country and find some new zones and just staying out of the park and rails as much as possible. I got a small taste of it this year and cant wait to experience more next year.
Dream Destination?
Cold:I would really like to go to Japan and ride some pillows like in community project or maybe Switzerland.Hot: umm probably the Amazon that place would be sick. I wish I could surf then maybe I would be more stoked on hot places.

Top four photographers you look up too? Why?
Cole Barash– we are the same age and his stuff is so amazing. I think he has changed the perspective of snowboard photography. He has such a unique eye and film stuff is so good.
Blotto– I always enjoy looking at his stuff. Seems like a cool guy.
Tim Zimmerman– I think just the riders he always shoots with, his style and he is the digital master. I wish I could of gone to one of his clinics/talks this past year.
Jeff Curley– Curley is super sick and is coming up strong right now. I look up to him a lot I like his style and he just a down, super rad guy.
ACDC OR MOTORHEAD? Why?
ACDC is sick but has to be Motorhead with out a doubt. The power, Lemmy and In the name of tragedy is the best!

Top five days of your career?
Well since I haven’t really had a career yet and being I’m only 20 and this is my first full year full time shooting I think those five days are yet to come. But top 3 best days so far have been:
1) Quitting the Hospital and working full time for the Revolution
2) Going to Sonora for the first time
3) Moving to Mammoth straight out of high school.

Plans for the summer?
Moving back to bro cal with my family for about a month to figure out what the hell Im going to do and live next year. Hopefully head up to Hood for a little bit and then down to South America in August.
You think is important to go to School to be a good Photographer?
I don’t think is it’s a have too but for sure would help out a lot. I would be down to go somewhere for the summer or a semester because there is so much to learn and fully understand about photography. I am still learning a lot and I love it because every time I go out in different conditions or spots I learn something new. Experience is the best tool out there and I have a lot more experiencing to do. I don’t think anybody can ever full master this art there is so much and it’s so broad you can do anything and be so creative that’s what I love about it.

Well right now Im in the process of upgrading my body and saving for some strobes but Im broke so here is what I currently use.

What photo equipment with NO LIMIT OF MONEY would you get? Why?
Oh man so much stuff I want right now. First off would probably get a couple of new bodies Canon 1D Mark IIn, Canon 5D for the full frame sensor, Canon 1Ds for hell of it and mega pixels, hasselblad 500 series and a digi one too, a bunch of old cameras too cause I want to shoot film more and really love medium format stuff. Next would be some strobes like probably 2 or 3 Elinchrom Ranger Strobes or Profoto 7b's. Next just buy every lenses from wide, fixed to some extremely huge zoom just for the hell of it. I could go on for days….oh and I would buy a person just carry around all my stuff everywhere.

What do you think about Fast Food?
Its so good but so bad. I used to eat a lot but this crazy health freak guy from Spain has taught me other wise and I can say I haven’t eaten any where super shitty in a long time and I feel pretty good. I think its important to eat well and stay healthy… who wants to be fat or diabetic or die young? Not me.
Do you work out?
Oh hell yea I just love hitting the gym with my bros, getting sweaty and pumping some iron. No…. I blew out my knee and had surgery 10 months ago so I try to get into somewhere and do my stretches, lunges, leg press just a lot of rehab type of stuff. I try to hike and bike a lot too. Just trying to get my knee 100% again.
What music do to listen too?
I like a lot of stuff. From Metal to Reggae to chill beats to maybe some old school rap but none of the new Mtv shit. I hate that. Right now listening to a lot of Doors, Rolling Stones, Mars Volta, MotorHead, Creedence the list goes on.
Does Your family Support You?
Yea my family is super rad they will support in whatever I'm getting in to next 100%.

Favorite mag? Why?
I enjoy looking through all the magazines and studying all the pictures; everyone one has its own unique qualities and style but If I had a to buy one from a shop it would be either Snowboard or Transworld.

Future Plans?
I hope to win the lottery so I can be set for the rest of my life and not have to go school….haha. Well I want to further my knowledge and get better at shooting photos, regularly submitting stuff to magazines, maybe get on with some crew and travel for the best snow and best shred spots. But I just hope to keep shredding, skating, shooting and move out of Cali, have a family, land, big house, the perfect mini ramp and some big dogs.
