Bear Mtn for the Holidays

If you are in the Southern California area right now you would be stupid not to make a quick trip up to Bear. With a ton of new snow and one of the biggest 24hr storms in 10 years the conditions are more than epic and long over due. Seeing as some of the crew was in Socal for the holidays we had to make a trip up.

It was your typical warm and sunny day in Big Bear making prime conditions for shredding and babes running around in tiny clothes; for me a major perk of SoCal. While most of the local crew was avoiding the holiday crowds we cruised around a bit with Daniel Brown and Zak Hale. It must be nice to ride that place everyday growing up, because those two are killing it these days. For the rest of the day we pretty much just got to enjoy taking fast laps until our legs felt like Jello. The couple of stops at the bar on the sun deck might have helped some of us too.

This place is just too much damn fun. I can't emphasize enough about how good the park staff is here. With way too many features to count you will see these guys all day making everything pristine for all of you. On top of that, by the time you are reading this, Clayton Shoemaker explained to me how everything is going to get bigger and better with the new snow they have, just as soon as the holidays are over and all the goombas start heading out of town. Pretty much if you have never been to Bear hopefully you’re getting an idea of how fun this place can be. Thanks to Rio and the entire park staff for making this place amazing. Hopefully we will be back before we know it, and if you have not experienced this place you should probably get on that.
