Snow Park NZ Update
photos and words by Josh Bauer
Another year at Snowpark, another progressive year for snowboarding. The saying often goes, "It’s not how big it is, it's how you use it."Well this much is true for Snowpark. The runs are well thought out, and features are extremely well built. Space is limited compared to any North American hill, snowfall is less than average compared to any European hill; but it's what Snowpark does with these limited resources that makes it a special place. The options in Snowpark are numerous, a jib line with skill fully crafted boxes and rails, intermediate jump line, contestline that contains a 70+ foot kicker, a superpipe that's groomed everynight, quaterpipe, and two beginner lines. There's something for everyone here, even hardcore pipe jocks getting ready for the Olympics. Snowpark will not disappoint even the highest of expectations.
