Superpark 13: Day 1 Update

Bring out the meat wagons, it’s time for Snowboarder Magazine’s Superpark held at Mammoth for the second year in a row. Cat Drivers have been slaving day and night making some of the largest jumps for a shitload of the worlds best riders to get some serious hangtime. There was a little weather delay yesterday and there was still a little bit a wind, but within the next few days conditions should only be getting better from here on out. For the first day out there didn’t seem to be anybody with any plans of taking it easy. Once the riders got a chance to ride the jumps, they really got after it. To add a little variety on the trail next to main run there was a BMX style course that is fun and fast. It doesn’t stop there either. On all rest of the runs around the lift all have plenty more massive features spread all over. Including a 100 foot jump that had a solid session on it today. With a lot more features about to be finished up and plenty more riding within the next week you can bet your ass there will be some heavy stuff going down.
