Your part in the new Absinthe movie READY is insane. Was it very hard to film?
Thanks! Well, I guess I had some good days and some bad ones... I spent most of my season in Whistler and Alaska. Whistler had some really good conditions at the beginning of the season and then I went to Alaska for one month and 1/2. In that one month I had one or 2 good days. That was super hard I think. Just hanging out up there with Nothing to do but wait. I feel like my season wasn't super easy and not productive.
Your part in READY also had some serious bails in it? How is your body these days?
I spend a lot of time stretching and lot's of money on bodywork. I think that investing in my body is so important since I make a living with it. My neck gets sore in he winter, because I'm so good at whiplashing and my hips also hurt often, one always pops out because of all my years of rinding in the same direction.
How you do you prepare your body for the beatings experienced with heavy metal snowboarding?
A bit of stretching and fitness... and lot's of time at the beach to relax.
I know you are an avid surfer in the off season, how is surfing compared to snowboarding?
Surfing makes me feel so good. The sun, the paddling. Get a nice tan and a good work out.... It's a new challenge, a new love and passion. It gives me a break from snowboarding and so motivates me to go snowboarding and appreciate life even more.

How is the scene at Whistler now compared when you moved there from the east coast of Canada?
Well when I moved there I was part of the new generation after guys like JF pelchat, geatan chanut, Devon... not many crews where out snowmobiling and filming. There wasn't so many movies and crews. Now everybody owns a sled and films for some kind of movie. The secret backcountry spots on the mountain used to not get track at all, now there's people all over the place.
What are your plans for the uncomming season? You will also filming for Absinthe?
Yes I'll be filming with Absinthe. I'm so thankful for that. I love their movies. My plan is to do my best and have fun. Hopefully ride with MFR.
Who are the top six female snowboarder out there? Why?
Victoria: her experience and the lines rides... and I like her a lot.
MFR: She really charges and is so cool and mellow about it.
Jamie Anderson: She's killing it on the jumps and in the pipe now. She really has a strong mental game.
Gretchen: I've always like Watching her ride pipe she's good at it and smooth.
Hanna Beaman: She is really versatile and super cool.
Torah: Stands out with her runs and works really hard.
Best locattion for shredding? Why?
Whistler. I just haven't found a better place and I can sleep in my bed after.

How do you handle the traveling? Jet lags?
with time you get better tricks and know what plane tickets not to buy. But I'm usually useless after I get home from a trip. I try not to travel so much, that's the most productive for me.
From your point of view what is the perspective of fakeness or reality in the Bro indutry land?
There's a good mix. It depends how wasted people are, they're really honest where they're waisted!?
How and why you decide to move to Whistler?
It was my dream since I was 14. My parents wouldn't hear it and only let me move when I was 18. There wasn't a doubt in my mind that's it what I wanted to do. So I bought a one way flight and never looked back.
Are you happy with your sponsors? They treat you well?
Yeah. and I'm especially really happy with my 2 new sponsors, Nike and Dakine. I deal with great people, good product and good companies. Nike is super fun and I get to design my clothes and boots. They are so fun to work with, it's really motivating.
