Roxy Chicken Jam

The Roxy Chicken Jam, St. Moritz, Switzerland, is an all-girls slopestyle snowboard competition featuring the best female riders in the world and boosts a €20,000 prize purse. This year the event will take place December 15-17, 2006. Launched in 2004, the Roxy Chicken Jam is the first, and to this date, the only all girls pro snowboarding event. Each year the event is held twice during the snowboard season with the first event kicking off in North America at Park City Mountain Resort followed by a European event held in St. Moritz, Switzerland. The top 20 female riders in the world are invited, and are joined at the main event by the top 5 stand-outs from the qualifying session. The top 5 overall riders are automatically qualified for European Roxy Chicken Jam later in the season.

In 2007, the Roxy Chicken Jam will name the women's TTR World Snowboard Tour Champion! The events also feature a festival atmosphere and an after-party hosted by the event sponsors. The 2007 Roxy Chicken Jam in Park City will be held March 22-25th.
