15 inches of new snow at Mammoth
Snow Report - Updated: Feb 23, 2007 6:40 AM
Good Morning Skiers and Snowboarders!
And what a good morning it is! We have 15 inches of fresh snow at Main Lodge, more on the Mountain, and there are still some light flurries coming down. I don't know if we'll see any more accumulation today but we could get more by the end of the weekend. The snow showers we have this morning will give way to partly cloudy skies in the afternoon. Bundle up if you are coming out, temperatures are hovering around 10 degrees with light winds. We have a 4 to 6 foot base of fresh powder, packed powder, and machine groomed snow. We are expecting to operate all lifts with the exception of Chairs 9, 13, 14, 20, 23, 26, and Upper Panorama Gondola. All lifts are wind and weather permitting so please check for updates. Ski and ride safe! Obstacles do exist.
