Every participant will be eligible for a prize drawing and this year's top fundraiser will win a snowboard prize package from Atomic.
In addition to the traditional pledge sheet, Crystal is offering fundraising online this year making it even easier to raise donations. Participants can open a FREE fundraising page and begin an email campaign by logging on to crystalmountain.com and clicking on the Subaru Boarding for Breast Cancer icon.
The Midwest's only B4BC event, which benefits the Boarding for Breast Cancer Foundation, Munson Healthcare's Navigator Program and the Women's Cancer Fund, features a number of other activities. Among them are ski and snowboard demos, samples of Coca-Cola's new energy drink, educational demos, and a hot wings contest. People will taste and vote for their favorite hot wings from 3-5pm with proceeds benefiting the three charities.
The 4th Annual Cammy Potter Slopestyle Competition will also be held on Saturday, March 3 as part of the B4BC event. The event is named in memory of the 35-year-old Cadillac native and U.S. Snowboard Team member who lost her battle with breast cancer in 2004. The competition runs from 11am-4pm. Registration is $25.
