TV Schedule Announced for 2006-07 Season

Park City, Utah  - Fans can follow the U.S. Ski Team and U.S. Snowboarding this winter with season-long coverage on NBC, Versus (formerly OLN) and the new World Championship Sports Network (WCSN). The Team announced its domestic TV schedule featuring 10.5 hours on NBC, weekly coverage through most of the season on Versus and complete coverage of nearly every World Cup event on WCSN.

NBC will provide anchor coverage from each of the Team's major domestic events in alpine, freestyle and snowboard with Sunday afternoon coverage. Versus will expand its coverage from past years with a consistent 5 p.m. ET time slot on Sunday afternoons from November through early April and will begin Sunday, Nov. 26 with an alpine season preview kickoff show and coverage of the women's Sirius Satellite Radio Aspen Winternational. Most shows will be two hours and include two separate events.

Serious fans will enjoy the most thorough start-to-finish season coverage of the international World Cup circuits on WCSN. The new network, which began offering live webcasting of international events a year ago, will expand its coverage to include nearly every FIS World Cup in alpine, cross country, freestyle, nordic combined, ski jumping and snowboard for a total of more than 250 events.

NBC's coverage kicks off with the Sirius Satellite Radio Aspen Winternational women's slalom World Cup in Aspen, CO and the VISA Birds of Prey downhill from Beaver Creek, CO in early December. NBC also will cover all three of the Chevrolet U.S. Snowboard Grand Prix events plus the State Farm U.S. Snowboard Cup in Lake Placid, NY. And in freestyle skiing, NBC will be on hand for the Chevrolet Freestyle International at Deer Valley, UT and the Nature Valley Freestyle Cup at Lake Placid, NY, both World Cup competitions.
