Golden / Kicking Horse Snow Shuttle Returns
Golden, BC - The Golden / Kicking Horse Snow Shuttle is back for another winter! The shuttle is an environmentally friendly, hassle free way to get from various Golden locations to the snow covered mountains at Kicking Horse Mountain Resort.
“The snow shuttle is a great transportation link for our valued guests and staff”, says Steve Paccagnan, President and General Manager at Kicking Horse. “This winter we have compiled comments from previous years and worked hard to develop a balanced schedule with pick-up locations that work for the needs of the community and resort.”
The shuttle is now operating seven days a week right through to closing day on April 12th 09. The shuttle will be making 9 separate runs, Golden / KHMR return daily. The first trip of the day departs at 5:50am and last trip off the mountain departs at 8:20pm.
The snow shuttle costs $2.50 per trip. Books of ten tickets can be purchased for the cost of nine trips and are available at Overwaitea, The Golden Town Office and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort Guest Services.
The snow shuttle operates at a cost of $110,000 per season, all of this is made possible with partner funding from The Town of Golden, BC Transit and Kicking Horse Mountain Resort
