Nissan Aspen/Snowmass Open Snowboard Pipe Final Results
 
Aspen/Snowmass, CO, – Clair Bidez of Minturn, Colorado and Joe Eddy of Mammoth Lakes, California take first place in snowboard pipe at the second annual NISSAN Aspen/Snowmass Open.  
Two female Aspen/Snowmass team athletes placed with Jordie Karlinski taking third in the women's snowboard pipe.
The 2007 Nissan Aspen/Snowmass Open presented by Esurance kicked off Thursday in Aspen/Snowmass, Colorado with qualifying rounds of skiing and snowboard superpipe and slopestyle competitions, all taking place on the same superpipe and slopestyle courses as the Winter X Games at Buttermilk. 
Over 300 male and female athletes from five countries are competing for a prize purse of nearly $30,000 in eight disciplines within skiing and snowboarding.
 
Men's Snowboard Superpipe:

1. Joe Eddy – Mammoth Lakes, California - $2,500
2. Keir Dillon – Carlsbad, California - $1,500
3. Chris Waker – Stratton, Vermont - $750
4. Luke Wynen – Mammoth Lakes, California - $500
5. Drew Brighton – Park City, Utah - $150

Women's Snowboard Superpipe:

1. Clair Bidez – Minturn, Colorado - $1,000
2. Leslie Glenn – Breckenridge, Colorado - $500
3. Jordie Karlinski – Snowmass Village, Colorado - $150
4. Bryn Valeria – Laguna Beach, California
5. Hayle Simpson – Stratton, Vermont
