Pico Mountain And Killington Resort Donate $6,222 To The United Way Of Rutland County
Killington, Vt. – Pico Mountain and Killington Resort raised more than $6,000 for the United Way of Rutland County through opening weekend sales of the Pico Card, Dec. 15-17.
In an effort to encourage donations, Pico Mountain presented Pico Cards to anyone who contributed $10 or more to the United Way of Rutland from December 15th through December 17th. In addition, Killington Resort joined in donating all proceeds from the cash bar at the annual employee holiday party. As a result, Pico Mountain and Killington Resort combined to raise a total of $6,222 to donate to the United Way of Rutland which will be used to assist various charities throughout the local community.
“We are very pleased that for the second year in a row we’ve been able to donate more than $6,000 to the United Way of Rutland County through the sale of Pico Cards.” said Dave Rathbun, vice president of brand management at Killington Resort.
With a Pico Card adults can ski or ride for just $29 and juniors, seniors and young adults ski or ride for only $19 every day except holidays.
