Trevor Graves Throw Back Retro Photo Show at FICE
Photos Andrew Miller

Last night December 12th with the help of legendary snowboard photographer Trevor Graves, FICE turned back the time dial to put the spot light back on the early days of snowboarding.  These now historic days of progression, expression and some seriously questionable fashion choices have influenced and evolved snowboarding into what it is today.  Back in the mid eighties and through the nineties Trevor was deep in the trenches traveling, documenting and revolutionizing the face and faces of snowboarding through his unique eye.  The photos he produced back then are now some of the most inspirational and iconic snowboard images to date. On display at FICE are a mix of seven different prints featuring Craig Kelly, Jeff Brushiee and an others.  This show will be sticking around for a month.  So if you in the area I highly suggest you stop by and check out these amazing images in person.

- FICE was opened about seven months ago by Laura Hadar and Corey Bolo.

- FICE will satisfy all your urban clothing needs.  Incase you missed the wild grand opening with The Spits check the story and photosHERE

- This is probably the most recognized photo in the show.  Craig Kelly Stratton 1990

- A few smaller prints the most notable being the classic shot of Jeff Brushie (2nd from the left).

- A mellow night of free beer a warm place to hang and some great images to look at.

- This was my favorite of the show.  I think Trevor really captured a split second into Craig Kelly's soul here.  Definitely one of my all time favorite snowboard portraits for sure.

- Trevor standing in front of his favorite of the show the "cheese wedge" shot in Las Lenas Argentina.
