Out of all the friends I have that happen to be really good at riding a snowboard Jeremy is one of my buddies that I have known forever. As groms from the east coast we would be at the same contests and events throughout the winters. Even as a little kid Jeremy has always had so much passion for snowboarding. Which later brought him to Stratton Mountain School where it took his riding to a whole other level. Riding with one of the best crew of up and coming kids all day every day in Vermont while making sure he keeps his focus on just having a good time on and off the board. Over the past couple years Jeremy has taken some spills that gave him some downtime but when his game is on Jeremy puts down some serious moves with good style and tons of power. So this summer in Government Camp Oregon I talked with Jeremy in the Snowrev RV to give you a little insight on another one of the many powerhouses that have come out of the east coast and another awesome dude.

So where are you from?
New York
How Long have you been snowboarding?
I think 11 years
Where was it that you grew up riding in New York?
Grew up riding at Hunter Mtn. It's about five minutes from my house

- Jeremy sending it in the pipe at Mammoth. Notice the crossed arms truckdriver, that shit is sick
What is the terrian there like
The terrain features are chill, not the biggest, but pretty fun. You can have a good time there. There's city people always cruising up
Where was your next move after Hunter for snowboarding?
I went up to Vermont to persue my snowboarding at Stratton Mountain School.

- You'll notice a a you read on that Jeremy does not mess around when it comes to the tweaking
What's it like going to school at SMS?
Um... Not many ladies, you eat a lot of bad food, workout a lot, and you go to school
Do you feel like you have received as good of an education going there, instead of your regular public or normal private schools.
It was probably worse, because you kinda just make what you want out of it. I didn't make too much out of the education part of it.
Would you say that riding with the crew of kids at Stratton made you a much better rider?
Oh yeah, for sure
- Summer halfpipe at Hood might be one of the best things ever. Big pop-tart in the High Cascade Pipe well overhead
Who were some of the kids that you were friends with from SMS were some of the standout dudes that you rode with a lot.
Our class was sick. We had Danny Davis, Louie Vito, Brian Villario, Johnny Milanga, Nick Russell
What do you think of that whole crew's riding?
They're good, they push themselves. It's pretty neat what their doing, and they just have a good time.
What do you think of all the new double flips guys are putting down that is now pretty much the standard, especially riding the pipe?
It's intense, it's definetly changing. Making it a little harder
- Textbook method on the hip at High Cascade under the scorching sun
How long are you out at Hood for?
2 weeks I think, then I head to New Zealand.
Why did you come out here?
I am doing dream feature thing with Flow at Windells

- Making it over with style and plenty of consequence in Mammoth
Who were some of the riders that you looked up to when you were growing up?
I looked up to Daniel Frank a lot. Pretty influential, I like his style and how he approached snowboarding
Did you do a lot of contests growing up?
I did, well. For a few years I just shredded, which was probably the funnest thing ever, then I started doing the USASA stuff

- Tyler Heffernan getting real artsy in the woods photo. Probably baked too
Do you think that all the soccor moms and dads that get ther kids into snowboarding is a bad look for the future?
You can support you kids so much but you don't have to be there pushing them because you want it more than they do. So I mean, my parents were awesome. They just let me do what I wanted to do. It was perfect.

- Another solid photo thanks to Tyler with Jeremy looking like an ant going deep
Do you see a big different now in contests with kids and parents as oppsed to when we were growing up and it seemed to be a little more loose and everything was all about fun?
Definetely, there are some kids you see the parents getting mad at them when they fall. It's pretty ubsurd. So I think that takes the fun out of it and they're not really enjoying their snowboarding as much.
- It's not everyday at Hood when you see riders blasting huge switch frontside fives on the hip. Jeremy putting on a show for campers at High Cascade
- What's important to you in snowboarding?
I just get out. It's fun snowboarding because you don't have to worry about anything. Just go out and do it for yourself for the most part. Forget about anything that bothers you in your life.
- Most poeple after not snowboarding for months will take a few days to start doing frontside sevens on good size jumps. Luckily for Jeremy he doesn't know what pussyfooting around is
Do you think you'll snowboard your whole Life?
Yeah, I'll definetely be snowboarding my whole life. I don't really know where or how much but I'll at least be out there a couple days of the year.
- Livin The Life
Do you have any people you would like to thank?
Yeah, um Flow has helped me for a while. Sessions has been giving me stuff. Hunter mountain has always been there hooking it up, and ust all the homies and people that have helped me out along the way.
