Stratton Mountain, VT - Balmy weather made Vermont feel more like California at the 28th annual US Open Snowboarding Championships, where Europeans Mikkel Bang (NOR) and Sina Candrian (SUI) each took home $20,000 and top slopestyle honors. Both riders are new to the top spot of the US Open slopestyle podium, adding a coveted title to their career highlights.

Stratton Mountain, VT - After the unusually hot Vermont sun set at Stratton, the Black & Night Jam was on. 25 men and 10 women had 90 minutes to get in as many runs as possible in the US Open’s fourth ever rail jam.

Stratton, VT - It was a busy day of competition under blue skies at the 6Star Burton US Open in Stratton, Vermont. Thursday was the first day for the women to compete in the slopestyle as well as halfpipe qualifiers. They were later joined by the men in the halfpipe for the men's qualifications. Despite the soft snow, the level of riding was high and much is expected to be coming up tomorrow.

Stratton, VT - Today spectators at Stratton Mountain saw the first day of competition of the 6Star Burton US Open 2010. Under sunny skies and in spring like conditions, 34 riders battled for 20 spots in the qualifications that then saw 10 snowboarders proceeding to semis finals that are taking place this Saturday.

Burlington, VT – With less than a month to go, the countdown has begun for the Burton Canadian Open Snowboarding Championships, taking place from February 2 – 7, 2010 at WinSport Canada’s Canada Olympic Park (COP) in Alberta, Canada. COP’s 22’ halfpipe is one of only three in Canada and was used as the model for the 2010 Olympic pipe at Cypress Mountain.
