For the third year in a row, Boulder Freeride has slaved away to bring CU the Campus Rail Jam Tour, and boy was it worth it. Not only was the riding insane, but the cash purse is the largest of the entire Tour, almost as much as the Portland Finals.

Aspen/Snowmass, CO – Aspen/Snowmass will offer skiing and riding on Aspen Mountain until 6 p.m. this Friday, March 12 in conjunction with the third Moonlight Dinner of the season at the Sundeck. In addition, all foot passengers are FREE from 5:30 to 9 p.m. to access the event.

Copper Mountain, CO - Woodward at Copper is pleased to announce that in recognition of spring time they are reducing the Winter Camp Day prices for the entire month of March. The new March Winter Camp day price is now only $129 if you have your own lift ticket, and $169 with a lift ticket, down from $199 per day.

Telluride, CO – Reflecting a European skiing experience found in Chamonix, France, the Telluride Ski Resort airlifted a new bridge and staircase to the left shoulder of Palmyra Peak this morning at approximately 8 am. Heliqwest, a helicopter company based out of Canada, airlifted two steel staircases and bridge over the ski resort to its final resting place – the span between Gold Hill Chutes 8 and 9.

Arapahoe Basin, CO – Arapahoe Basin’s Montezuma Bowl will open to the public at 9:00am, Wednesday, February 24. Snow accumulation from the recent storms has enabled the crew at A-Basin to open the back bowl. The Zuma chair lift will give skiers and riders access to 17 intermediate, advanced and expert runs.

Arapahoe Basin, CO – The Black Mountain Express will replace the Exhibition Lift at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area. The new, high speed quad chairlift that will be constructed this summer at Arapahoe Basin has found a name – Black Mountain Express. Alan Henceroth, COO of A-Basin, put a call out to A-Basin aficionados to help name the lift. He received hundreds of suggestions from “Quadzilla” to “Chairway to Heaven.”
