Copper Mountain, CO - Woodward at Copper is pleased to announce that in recognition of spring time they are reducing the Winter Camp Day prices for the entire month of March. The new March Winter Camp day price is now only $129 if you have your own lift ticket, and $169 with a lift ticket, down from $199 per day.

Copper Mountain, CO – Copper Mountain hosted the first of three Revolution Tour events on Sunday, opening with the snowboardcross. Jarod Minghini (Lake Tahoe, CA) and Celine Valentin (Simsbury, CT) were crowned champion, winning the final heat.

Copper Mountain, CO - The Copper halfpipe was stacked with big air and beauty Thursday as the best women in the sport hit up the 22-foot walls for qualification runs at the U.S. Snowboarding Grand Prix. And, to no one's surprise, Olympic medalists Gretchen Bleiler (Aspen, CO) and Kelly Clark (Mt. Snow, VT) were the first and second place qualifiers of the day.

On Friday November 20, Copper Mountain’s American Flyer Lift will open for the season with skiing and riding on High Point and Loverly trails. With this additional terrain opening, Copper will have 5 lifts in operation with 8 trails and 130 acres.

Vancouver, B.C. and Park City, UT — Intrawest and Powdr Corp announced they have entered into a definitive purchase agreement to sell Intrawest’s interests in Copper Mountain to Powdr Corp. The transaction is anticipated to close in December 2009 and the agreement is subject to regulatory approvals including the issuance of a U.S. Forest Service special-use permit to Powdr Corp.

Winter Park, Copper Mountain, Steamboat Springs, CO – As America prepares to honor veterans, three ski resorts in Colorado are making winter vacations on the slopes more accessible for active and retired military members with the specially priced Patriot Pass.
