Snowboarder Kevin Pearce was released from the inpatient Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Program at Craig Hospital on April 14, 2010. Kevin will continue daily outpatient therapy with Craig Hospital while residing in the Denver-area home that has been generously loaned to the Pearce family for the last several months.

Breckenridge, CO - Breckenridge Ski Resort announced today the annual Matt Wyffels Rail Jam resulted in a $4,500 donation to Kevin Pearce, a champion snowboarder and Olympic hopeful from Norwich, VT, who is currently in recovery from a traumatic brain injury.

Tomorrow, Friday April 9th, snowboarders are invited to rally on the rails for a good cause at Breckenridge, CO. Matt Wyffels is a snowboarder who suffered a spinal cord injury and learned to walk and even snowboard again, despite his doctors’ prognosis that he never would. The Spring Massive Festival has helped Matt “get back on his feet again” quite literally and now he would like to pass on the support that has been given to him over the years.

Denver, CO - Snowboarder Kevin Pearce continues to make excellent strides in his recovery. Just over one month after his accident Kevin has been transferred from the University of Utah Hospital to Craig Hospital – a world renowned center for specialty rehabilitation and research for people with traumatic brain injury. There Kevin will begin his next steps towards a full recovery.

Salt Lake City - Although snowboarder Kevin Pearce (Norwich, VT) has a long recovery ahead of him, according to his representatives, his doctors are "cautiously" optimistic given his current progress. Pearce has been upgraded from critical to serious condition according to his doctors at the University of Utah Hospital and this is a very big step in Pearce's recovery process.

Pearce remains in critical but stable condition in a Salt Lake City hospital following an accident in Park City on Thursday, December 31, 2009.

Park City, UT - U.S. snowboarder Kevin Pearce (Norwich, VT) was injured Thursday while training in the halfpipe at Park City Mountain Resort. According to U.S. Snowboarding Medical Director Richard Quincy, Pearce was transported to the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City where he is being treated.
