    Donner Summit, CA – Sugar Bowl Resort announced today that opening day for the 2009/10 ski season, the resort’s 70th, will be Wednesday, November 25th. Both the White Pine and Jerome Hill chairlifts will be running, and the Judah Lodge will be open to accommodate all lift ticket, season pass, food & beverage, rental and lesson needs.
  • Attitash Wishbone Jib Rail Jam

    Bartlett, NH - On Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28 Attitash Ski Resort on Route 302 in Bartlett, NH will host a “preseason” rail jam. This event will be open to the public, taking place in the Attitash base area and will feature several new rails of different types for participants to take advantage of.
  • Snowshoe Mountain Opening Day Delayed

    Snowshoe, WV — Mother Nature has once again proved how fickle she can be, forcing Snowshoe Mountain to delay it’s Opening Day for the winter ski and snowboard season after an unusually mild fall. Snowshoe’s Opening Day was planned for Wednesday, November 25th, but the resort has seen only 4” of natural snowfall since early October, and has had very few chances to make snow for sustained periods, due to mild temperatures.
