Jackson Hole

Jackson Hole Resort in Wyoming is the most epic mountain you will ever shred. The resort is located in the Grand Teton Mountain Range. The 116 diverse runs keep you traversing all day long just to get a piece of the whole mountain. There is 2,500 acres of perfect steep lines with plenty of Wyoming Pow. There is a vertical of 4,139 feet, the greatest continuous rise in the US. Jackson Hole has plenty of tree runs and natural features to keep you going back up 2 miles on the new tram all day long. You need to make sure you ride the Casper Bowl at least once before you leave the resort.

"It only hurts to turn" bi-ax short boards need not apply. This mountain is the ultimate proving ground. From the sick jump line on Eagles Rest to the backcountry access, all you need is the ability to keep going. The terrain is endless, demanding and overwhelming. And don't be surprised if you find yourself sharing the gondola, chair, or tram ride with Pro skiers and snowboarders. Mad RESPECT for the Tetons.

Totally agree with everything said above! The biggest requirement for this mountain is stamina... don't fool yourself, nature always wins when your feeling too tired to continue. I got a nasty set of broken ribs and stitches in my leg when I was greedy for more snow, but my body had given up on me... That accident was also due to the deceptive early season dump we had, everything on the ground there is big, so it takes a lot of snow to really cover it up. Just because you can't see something, doesn't mean it isn't going to destroy you... like the log that seriously damaged my ribs and leg...

Too many amazing things to say about this mountain, so I'll leave it with: Don't miss it, add Jackson Hole to your list of must ride mountains and make it happen.
