    Cefe 3/15/2010 Riders from around the globe are currently making the trek to Stratton, Vermont for the mens last 6Star event of the 2009/2010 Swatch TTR World Tour season. The 6Star Burton US Open is set to take hold of Stratton Mountain Resort all next week with slopestyle finals scheduled for Friday, March 19th and halfpipe finals set for Saturday, March 20th.

  • 2010 Winter Olympic Games: Halfpipe Qualifications and Finals Video

    Cefe 2/23/2010 Snowboarding superstar and defending champion Shaun White won the Olympic men's halfpipe gold, dazzling the judges with his tricks - including the gravity-defying Double McTwist 1260. White scored 48.4 out of 50 in his second run after 46.8 in his first, which was in itself enough to seal the title. Finland's Peetu Piiroinen took silver with a score of 45.0 and Scott Lago of the United States won bronze with 42.8.

    Cefe 1/19/2010 As the Swatch TTR World Snowboard Tour descended on Laax for the 6Star Burton European Open we saw a tour de force from Finnish rider, Peetu Piiroinen, who managed to place first in both slopestyle and halfpipe. Norwegian wunderkind Mikkel Bang threw down an exceptional performance on the fantastic slopestyle course placing second, while Iouri Podladtchikov managed to place 3rd in the pipe which moved him up to 5th on the TTR World Snowboard Tour Rankings.
